The first album of the ambient industrial project GEIST comes from the deep Elsass (Alsace) with photographic artwork, realized by Markus Belloni. With this collection of photographs taken in southern Alsace, Markus Belloni guides us through the industrial mining past of a region where all that remain today are vague recollections and a few scars on the landscape which, within a short time, will surely fade and disappear from memory.
This album takes us back to the past of the Alsatian mines (built at the beginning of the last century (1914-1920) ), real cradle of the industry. The album is ambient and brings back to life for a moment the spectres that still haunt these long abandoned walls.
